I have Multiple Sclerosis, Hashimoto’s Hypothyroiditis, and a black belt in taekwondo. I’m also an ocular melanoma (OM) survivor, and a sort-of Buddhist. My odds of being all these things is roughly one in a gazillion. This explains why my writing might be kinda obsessed with apocalypse…societal, religious, and personal.
My work can be found in print in Unspoken: Writers on Infertility, Miscarriage, and Stillbirth (forthcoming in 2020), Cat Ladies of the Apocalypse (also forthcoming in 2020), and online at Pyramid Magazine and The Mighty. The first book of my post-apocalyptic science fiction trilogy, The Catherine Wheel, will also be available by Christmas 2020. My author page at Amazon can be found here.
I live in Virginia with my best work: my kid, my husband, and (God help me) cats.
